Coaches:

The Brookings Basketball Association Development League will be offered this season for recreation and school teams. It has been a successful program that provides games for teams that have a mix of talent and experience. Brookings Basketball Association players will be participating with up to 3 balanced talent teams per division. All games will be at the 5th Street Gym in Brookings, SD.

Details:

2 games per day between 8:00am to 6:00pm on the scheduled dates shown below. New games will start every hour.

Schedules will be sent to the head coach via email at least 5 days prior to games.

BBA will provide two referees for each game.

Each team provides one person to run the scoreboard or keep the book.

15-18-minute halves with running clock up to the last 2 minutes of each half.

8 to 10-minute warmup, 3 min halftime, three time-outs per game

No press or zone defense.

3rd Grade Boys & Girls - January 13, February 10, March 2

4th Grade Boys - December 2, January 20, February 3, March 2

4th Grade Girls - December 9, January 20, January 27, March 2

5th Grade Boys & Girls - December 9, January 27, February 10, February 24

6th Grade Boys & Girls - December 2, January 13, February 3, February 17

Entry fees are $80 per Saturday. The season totals are $240 for 3rd grade, $320 for 4th through 6th grades. Fees cover the gym rental and referee costs.
